Guardians are hostile mobs in the game Minecraft. They are found in Ocean Monuments. Guardians will roam throughout the monument protecting the treasure within.

Appearance

They appear as a giant fish-like creature with one big middle eye. They are aquamarine and have orange spikes. Their tail fin also has orange coloring on it.

Spawn

They will spawn inside the Ocean Monuments in corridors provided the right amount of space.

Fighting

Since they are underwater, a potion of Water Breathing  is recommended. Swords with enchantments will be helpful in many cases. The Elder Guardians are able to cause Mining Fatigue III on the player(s).
